London-Singapore-Perth

I'm betting that most people don't turn up at Heathrow with their luggage in a Luton van.

But then I'm guessing that most people aren't taking 2/3 of a ton of excess luggage halfway around the world. That is all of our costumes, most of our props, some sound equipment, lighting equipment and part of the set. With 14 actors, 1 producer, 1 production manager, 1 assistant director,  2 techies, 1 wardrobe, 1 company manager, 3 stage managers, 1 actors girlfriend, associated luggage and the aforementioned 2/3 of a ton of show gear we are quite a force to be reckoned with.

That's our airbus waiting to take us from Heathrow to Singapore on the first leg of the journey.

And that's the plane in Singapore (a bit sunnier here than Heathrow!) having our luggage transferred to our Perth flight.

Just under six hours later the same luggage is being unloaded at Perth. The wardrobe cases are first off.

The view of Perth from my room.

And finally, my home from home for the next 13 days. Much nicer than the Travelodge! Time for a quick shower before we head out into Perth to find some supper.
